Upon contacting the City, Scott discovered the issues were unresolved. I was in camp and with only 2 weeks before the date of completion, we could see that the listing agent did not have the experience to navigate this extremely sensitive situation.
We all know how difficult it can be to talk to the right person at a big organization like the City. Scott was able to coordinate with the City’s building inspectors to access the property before the date of completion and fully resolve the outstanding inspections. Stress dissipated with these issues resolved, plus during these frantic two weeks, the listing agent made a serious addendum error that gave us an additional $25,000 off the purchase price. It feels great to win.
